Governor Brown Announces Pension Refrom Agreement

A variety of different efforts to reform public employee pensions have recently taken shape. The State Legislature has formed a Conference Committee on Public Employee Pensions and various efforts to reform pensions through the initiative process have entered the signature gathering phase.

ACCCA has put together a Pension Reform Committee to analyze and advocate for sensible reforms that maintain retirement security for community college administrators and public employees across California. This page will be upated to reflect the various efforts by different groups to institute reforms to CalPERS and CalSTRS and will also include topical studies and articles related to public employee pensions.
