Did you know that ACCCA’s Political Action Committee is the only PAC organized specifically for the purpose of advocating for your administrative rights in Sacramento? It's true!
ACCCA PAC ensures that YOUR Association will have the means to influence legislative process whenever necessary and make substantial contributions to statewide campaigns (think Prop 30) that can help administrators and their districts throughout the California community college system.
ACCCA PAC is a voluntary, non-profit, unincorporated committee operated in conformance with the state and federal law to represent administrators and managers of California's community colleges. The PAC operates in cooperation with ACCCA's affiliate organizations to advocate directly and indirectly for the improvement of funding and regulation/policies that have a direct impact on the community college administrative perspective, college operations and ultimately the students they serve. ACCCA PAC also seeks to:
Educate community college administrators and others about the direct relationship between political action and the improvement of policies and support for community colleges by the State of California;
Inform legislators, their staff and other state agency personnel about the mission of the California community colleges and the importance of administrative initiatives developed to ensure efficient and ethical management and operations within community college institutions;
Provide a forum and encourage the involvement of community college administrators and managers to express themselves in the political process to the benefit of their college and the community college system as a whole; and,
Provide direct support for organizations, initiatives, propositions, issues and legislators whose policies and efforts are directed toward improving the California community college system.
Now more than ever, your help is needed to keep these important efforts going! ACCCA PAC is soley funded through direct contributions from individual administrators and ACCCA members. This work that supports your profession will go on whether you make a donation or not, but we encourage you to reciprocate and join over 1100 of your colleagues who are supporting you now.
You can contribute by adding an amount to your monthly payroll deduction or if you submit dues annually, by adding an additional amount to your annual dues payment.

The ACCCA PAC meets twice annually, at the ACCCA Conference in February and the ACCCA Board of Directors planning meeting in June. The current chairperson of the PAC is Thomas Greene, President, American River College. Other members of the PAC include:
