Harry Buttimer Distinguished Administrator Award
The Buttimer is ACCCA’s oldest and most prestigious award. Named for the late Harry Buttimer, the award symbolizes the qualities for which he was known – integrity; principle; compassion; strength in leadership; contributions to colleagues and the profession; and contributions to the college district and community.
As a founding member of ACCCA and its first Legislative Commission Chairperson, Harry Buttimer's contributions helped to establish the Association as a stakeholder in community college finance and legislation and his leadership helped to set the foundation for programs and services we are still providing to members today.
