Great Deans Program

ACCCA is excited to announce the return of the ACCCA Great Deans Program in conjunction with our Chief Instructional and Student Service Officers. This program has been created to target newer deans in the first five years of their career.
The curriculum has been developed based upon an assessment of critical needs identified by members of ACCCA, CIOS, CSSOs, CEOs and CHROs. Based upon this assessment, the program will focus on five areas including:
- Faculty Relations
- Personnel Management
- Enrollment Management
- Budget Management
If you are a dean, either in student services or instruction, have been in the role for five or fewer years and would like to increase your knowledge, skills and success, consider joining our next cohort. Or, if you're a savvy experienced dean, encourage one of your new-to-the-job colleagues to consider becoming a future Great Deans participant!
The 2019 class will launch in Sacramento CA, July 9 & 10, 2019. Regional sessions (at American River College and El Camino College) will take place throughout the year with graduation taking place in Riverside at the 2020 ACCCA Conference.
The tuition for Great Deans is $950 and includes most meals and class materials (lodging is not included.)
For all programs, if you are accepted into the program, you will be required to provide a support letter signed by your direct supervisor as well as your current college president.

October 4th and November 1st El Camino College and American River College (choose one)
