The 2019 conference will be held at the Omni Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage. Dates are set for February 20-22, 2019

The ACCCA Conference is always looking for ways to transform and evolve from the once "talking-head" presentation to new, interactive and exciting sessions that everyone will want to attend. You have several options for the type of session you plan to organize: 1) Traditional Lecture, 2) Forum Session, and 3) Round Table Discussion. Conference strands are here as a guideline to let our presenters know the kind of program we are looking to assemble. We encourage all session submissions to focus on equity and diversity within the given strands as well.

Strands and the sessions in them will be clearly defined in the conference program and represent four main categories:

  • STRAND I:  The Whole Administrator

Sessions will focus on work-life harmony; advocacy for administrative rights; professional development and career advancement.

  • STRAND II:  Laying the Foundation

Sessions will focus on creating system and institutional capacity with a focus on human resources, policy and regulation, finance, technology and public relations.

  • STRAND III:  Leadership Strategies

Sessions will focus on leading large-scale institutional change and the administrator’s role and impact to the shift in culture.

  • STRAND IV:   Influencing the Outcome

Sessions will focus on how to effectively influence your administrative environment (challenges, successes and opportunities), in alignment with statewide initiatives and how strategic visions are translated to implementation.
