message from the Executive director
It is a true honor to serve as Executive Director of the Association of California Community College Administrators. I step into this role with deep respect for ACCCA’s mission and I am proud to work for a Board of Directors with a strong commitment to supporting the administrators who lead, innovate, and serve across California’s community colleges.
My own administrative journey in community colleges was profoundly shaped by ACCCA’s professional development programs. Early in my career, participating in these offerings expanded my perspective, strengthened my leadership skills, and connected me to a network of colleagues who inspired me to grow. Serving in this position now feels like a meaningful full circle and an opportunity to give back to the organization that helped shape my path and that so closely aligns with my values and dedication to community colleges.
As we look ahead, I am excited about the opportunities to collaborate closely with our affiliate organizations and partners. Together, we can continue to innovate, strengthen leadership across the system, and ensure that administrators have the support, tools, and community they need to best serve students.
I am also fortunate to join a wonderful ACCCA team whose commitment to supporting our membership is evident in everything they do. Their experience, care, and professionalism are a strong foundation for the work we will continue together.
I look forward to connecting with our members throughout the state, listening to your ideas, and working in partnerships to advance ACCCA’s mission in ways that are responsive, inclusive, and forward-looking.
