This year, ACCCA is looking for conference breakout proposals that will focus on the innovations, solutions and best practices to challenge the conventional. Knowing that we need to prepare for the change that inevitably is headed our way, we want to hear what you’re doing that’s showing success and how it might be applied in other colleges or districts.

The strands of information we intend to feature are listed below, but we welcome your other ideas as well.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Tell us what changes you’re making in your HR, business and admissions offices. How are you adjusting your student services and instructional programs to cope or improve? We want to know about the outstanding innovations making a difference on your campus.
- Performance Driven Leadership: Management skills that go beyond maintaining the norm are required to achieve success in an era of decline. Who do you look to on your campus to lead and what makes them so effective? Those attending this conference need good examples of leadership that brings out the best in everyone.
- Technology and Innovation: Knowing the benefits in the long run, how are you able to apply new technology in a time of austerity? Great innovations start with a single concept. Share the genesis of your great innovation and how it’s having an impact on your campus.
- Work/Life Balance: What gets you through the tough times and how you cope is the essence of the work/life balance. Is there a road map that takes you from chaos to progress? How do you keep it all in perspective and continue to change crisis into opportunity on a continuum and not lose yourself in the process?

If you’re an ACCCA Corporate Member we want you.
Please partner* with one of your college clients to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise that have resulted in real cost-saving solutions to campus challenges. Again this year, corporate member sessions will be offered as part of each round of breakout sessions and all presentations should be designed to address the criteria of strands outlined above.
Please email us at admin1@accca.org or call us directly at 916.443.3559 if you want to share a topic idea without actually submitting a proposal, to facilitate a session, or if you need to have your questions answered before submitting a proposal. Be sure to check the ACCCA newsletter and website for regular updates to the Conference program.
* It's required that college representatives co-present with corporate members
